Vandana Wadera started her experience with yoga 17 years ago with traditional Hatha Yoga practice, under the direct guidance of Sri Swami Vidyanand – Founder President, SriMa International School of Transformational Yoga and Yoga Alliance International – at the then Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. Brought up and educated in England, she graduated with a degree in Pharmacy from Kings College London. After training and brief work experience as a pharmacist, she moved to India, where her interest in learning holistic healing techniques could now be cultivated. Vandana is a Master and Grand Master Level Teacher of Integral, Transformational Hatha Yoga, internationally certified by Yoga Alliance International. Today, Vandana continues to teach Transformational Yoga and Meditation techniques, as well as assist Sri Swami Vidyanand in conducting Teacher Training Courses of 100, 200, 500 levels at the Srima International School of Transformational Yoga, New Delhi, where she is a Director. The school has certified over 150 teachers across the world. Vandana emphasises on traditional gentle style of yoga, aimed at releasing stress through working upon the body, mind, breath and awareness, leading to self-transformation, resulting in good health, emotional balance, increased vitality in life and general peace and harmony within oneself. Vandana offers personalised classes to suit all age groups, adapted to different levels of fitness and all levels of experience in yoga, leading students towards healing and meditation.
